Concrete Association of Estonia elected Vaido Leosk, the As E-Betoonelement's Chairman of the Board, as the association’s new Chairman of the Board on 17 February. The former Chairman of the Board Mati Laurson led the Concrete Association for four years, 2008-2012.

„I believe that it’s a matter of honour for every upstanding concrete enterprise in Estonia to participate in the collaboration of developing the field and raising the reputation of concrete as local construction material,” said Vaido Leosk, Concrete Association of Estonia's Chairman of the Board. „We also wish to include companies and institutions that haven't yet joined the Concrete Association. The wider the Concrete Association’s area of influence, the better the members’ mutual interests can be represented,” Leosk added.

Vaido Leosk: „I would like to thank the former Chairman of the Board Mati Laurson for successful management, and it gives me great pleasure that he will continue participating in the management board, which ensures a consistent continuance of management."

“Over the eight years of activity, Concrete Association of Estonia has become a visible and reputable organisation. We have developed a functional training system, published four voluminous instruction materials regarding concrete. Our concrete building competition is acclaimed and is widely known,” said Mati Laurson, Savekate OÜ’s council member and member of the Concrete Association of Estonia’s management board. “It has become a tradition for the Concrete Association to elect a new Chairman of the Board at the end of every 2-year period. This enables involving more people and fresh ideas in its activities. I am also very glad that the association’s management board has four new members, which will surely inject new energy to the association's conduct," Laurson added.
