E-Betoonelement Welcomes All Enthusiasts from 19 to 21 April at the Rural Fair.

Visitors of the fair cubicle can ask for advice from our specialists concerning reinforced concrete elements and agricultural solutions, but also regarding the element solutions of residential and production buildings and warehouses in general.

Farm containers, which we are going to introduce at the fair as well, have been erected by the dozens in Estonia and Finland. The erection of the Haeska farm container can be seen from the video below:

Additional information regarding farm containers and silos can be found here.

Regarding the element solutions here.

Last year the Rural Fair was visited by more than 43,000 people and ten foreign countries were represented, most largely by the southern neighbours Latvians.

We await our customers and collaborators as usual at the A hall.

See you soon!

“The Board of the Concrete Association has repeatedly discussed the topic of graduation works of students – so that future engineers would study topics that are important in practice and that Estonian concrete construction would have the necessary theoretical support with regard to the most important topics,” said Tiit Roots, Chairman of the Board of the Concrete Association of Estonia. “We hope that student prizes make future engineers think more about concrete already when they’re still in school,” Roots added.

Deadline for submission: 11 June 2018

The Estonian Concrete Association Student Prize is awarded to graduate theses corresponding to Estonian students.

The thesis must be related to the concrete or its components or concrete products, for example, the design, design, construction, etc. of concrete / concrete products / concrete structures.

AS E-Betoonelement’s contracting in connection with T1, the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Estonia has come to an end. Cooperation with the largest construction company in Estonia, Merko Ehitus Eesti AS commenced in August of 2015 and ended in the beginning of this year; the project was completed in three stages. E-Betoonelement’s contracting included the working project of the elements of the structural part, product drawings for elements as well as manufacturing and delivery of elements to the site.

Project: T1 shopping and entertainment centre
Address: Peterburi road 2, Tallinn
Client: Merko Ehitus Eesti AS
Customer’s project director: Priit Pullerits
Services: Design of the working project of a structure made of precast reinforced concrete elements; design of working drawings, production and transport of reinforced concrete elements
Product nomenclature: Hollow core slabs, columns, beams, stairs, wall and plinth elements
Project Manager at E-Betoonelement: Toomas Böttcher

T1-E-Betoonelement

Estonian leading construction company AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, project director Priit Pullerits:“We cooperated with E-Betoonelement upon the construction of T1, the largest shopping and entertainment centre in Estonia for two and a half years. Our cooperation was based on good communication, thought process focused on solutions, and professional execution. E-Betoonelement’s strength is certainly their 3D design capacity, which puts them a step above others in the market. Using BIM in the T1 project provided an accurate overview of the project as a whole, enabling better planning of resources, organising work and delivery as well as a real-time overview of the course of the project. We were very satisfied with the cooperation!”

“T1 shopping and entertainment centre project can be deemed to be completed successfully. Despite the fact that the massive project offered several challenges, it proved to be successful in every way. The project was complicated due to having to ensure that the precast and monolithic parts work with each other but also because of the high expectations for the customer, designer and the factory caused by short deadlines. All the solutions came into being thanks to the systematic approach and comprehensive mutual support by the parties. Because the entire project was designed as a BIM model, it ensured a smooth progress of the project. I would like to thank Merko Ehitus Eesti AS project director Priit Pullerits and site manager Rene Roone for constructive and professional cooperation. Praise also goes to Tamsalu factory and Tamsalu Logistics department. We are ready for our next challenge,” Toomas Böttcher, project manager of AS E-Betoonelement..

T1 shopping and entertainment centre will be completed in the autumn of this year.
