I am pleased to announce that the BALTICS Force Team of the Month March is the Hollow Core Machinery Transfer Team, whose remarkable efforts have significantly advanced our operations.
Based on market demands and in alignment with the Baltic Business Unit development plan, the Trakai Hollow Core production underwent a substantial transformation from Slipformer to Extruder type machinery. This transition was made possible through the utilization of existing machineries from the temporarily closed Tamsalu factory. The machines were refurbished and renovated by the dedicated Tamsalu team members: Taavi Saarna, Tarmo Rebane, Tahir Hamidžanov, Marek Popov and Ainar Vainer.
The Trakai team, led by Aretas Kvietkus, including Edgaras Miliūnas, Olegas Podlipajevas, Mindaugas Butkevičius, and Aleksas Podlipajevas, demonstrated excellent skills and efficiency. They swiftly adjusted the Extruders' wheel width to match the Trakai bed width and successfully changed the casting technology from Slipformer to Extruder type. Moreover, the team with Rimvydas Moceikis conducted thorough adjustments and refined concrete recipes with remarkable professionalism and speed. Aare Lessuk from the Baltics team player a role in transferring the concrete recipe know-how to Trakai.
The team's efforts concluded in the successful testing and submission of HCE 500 and HCE300/320 machinery for KIWA certification, marking a significant milestone to start with the production. Currently, the certification process for HCE 200 and HCE 265 is underway - showing the team's ongoing commitment and readiness to fulfill market demand.

JULY

BALTICS Force Team of the Month JULY – The Tender Calculation Automation Team
I am pleased to announce that the Force Team of the Month for July is The Tender Calculation Automation Team, recognizing an exceptional group of professionals including team members Oskars Zomerovskis, Jurģis Kļavpurs, Neeme Kasela, Pēteris Cālītis, Taavi Saarna, Karina Vanaga, Kristīne Caune, Vesa Autio, Andres Aas, and Marko Valtanen.
This recognition celebrates their outstanding work on the proof of concept (POC) phase of the tender calculation project within iNetto (ERP). Formerly, we have used a manual bid calculation process that is often inefficient and lacks centralized data management. Realizing the need to automate and improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in the tender process, this team initiated a significant process of change.
The POC for automated tender calculations has shown promising results. Financially, the new system promises more accurate cost estimations in tender offers, reducing the chances of underbidding or overbidding on projects once fully implemented. The process is being streamlined, saving valuable time for tendering teams and enabling faster responses to bid requests. The centralized platform ensures consistency and transparency across all bids, fostering trust and clarity within our organization. Additionally, the integration of tender calculation data with other ERP modules facilitates better decision-making and resource planning.
Quality improvements are expected as automation will reduce errors from manual calculations, ensuring more accurate tender offers. Standardizing tender calculation methods and materials will lead to more consistent and reliable bid proposals.
Looking ahead, the team plans to fully implement automated tender calculations later this year to handle more bids efficiently. They will keep improving the system by incorporating feedback and best practices to further optimize efficiency and accuracy.
Congratulations to this outstanding team for their excellent work and dedication during the POC phase. We look forward to their ongoing positive impact as they progress towards full implementation.
The diplomas and gifts will be delivered to the winning team in the near future.
