Stairs
Types of stair elements:
T – straight stairs with a central beam
U – straight return stairs
KT – spiral stairs with a central beam
KU – spiral return stairs
Tread
Finishing possibilities:
- mosaic concrete tiles (installed at the construction site)
- exposed aggregate concrete
- sandblasted surface
- mould surface
Underside
Finishing possibilities:
- steel floated surface
- rolled surface
- brushed surface
Loads
Live load 4kN/m2, point load 2 kN. These are normative loads.
Stair elements can also be manufactured according to the drawings supplied by the client.
Straight return stairs
Surface of the steps: smooth mould surface, exposed aggregate surface or sandblasted surface.
Flights are raised from loops located at the edges of the elements or from internal female thread sleeves in the treads. The railings are attached to the female thread sleeves M12 located on the side of the flight or with through bolts at the construction site.
Standard dimensions of stair elements
Height of the storey 2,800 mm:
8 tõusu (8×175 mm), kaal ~ 1550 kg
9 tõusu (9×155,6 mm), kaal ~ 1950 kg
step width (e) 270 or 300 mm
stair width (B) 1,200 mm
Step width (e), step height (h), the number of steps and the stair width (B) can be modified when necessary.
Type marking
For example TR8/U, where
8 = number of steps
U= straight return stairs.
Dimensions, mm. e= step width, h= step height, b= stair width
e | h | b | Steps (max) |
270 | 150…180 | ≤ 1600 | 20 |
300 | 150…185 | ≤ 1600 | 20 |
Spiral stairs with a central beam
The width of stairs with two or three flights is 1,200 or 1,600 mm. The dimensions indicated in the table are for steps 270 mm wide. The stairs spirals 180° until reaching the storey height H indicated in the table. Front and side coverings of the tread plates: mosaic concrete, exposed aggregate surface or smooth mould surface. The central beam is raised from loops located at the edges of the elements or from female thread sleeves located in the treads. The railings are attached to the female thread sleeves M10 located on the side of the treads.

Type marking
For example TR18/KTe, where
18 = number of steps,
KT = spiral stairs with a central beam,
e = 700 mm wide central beam.
