The annual competition "Concrete Talent 2023" for making the best concrete will take place already tomorrow at Tallinn University of Technology. The day starts at 10:00 a.m. with a lecture on concrete held by Merko Ehitus Eesti, and at 11:00 a.m. we move to the parking lot of the TalTech Students House, where the competition for making the best concrete will take place. Among the participants there are university students, high school students, as well as professionals from different companies. The event is organized by TalTech's Faculty of Engineering student association together with lecturer Tanel Tuisk. E-Betoonelement team also contributes to the organization of the competition.

11.00 - "Concrete Talent 2023" competition, TalTech Student House parking lot
In the "Concrete Talent 2023" competition, participants can test their skills by making their own concrete. The participants can compete in two categories: "The strongest concrete", where the goal of the competition is to make the strongest possible concrete. Concrete preparation and compaction technology is not regulated. And "The most precise concrete", where the goal is to make a cube with a compressive strength as close as possible to 33 MPa, by using potable water.
The results of the competition will be announced in approximately one month when the concrete has completely cured, and the test pieces have been tested. The prize fund of the competition is €1,200, and in addition to the best concrete maker, the participants' costumes are also evaluated, which can bring a participant a surprise prize.
The list of participants has been finalised, but all spectators are very welcome to attend and cheer on participants. The event creates an opportunity to meet specialists in the field, exchange knowledge and make new contacts.
