{"id":8033,"date":"2015-03-11T20:39:14","date_gmt":"2015-03-11T20:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/e-betoonelement-was-commended-for-concrete-elements-of-tondiraba-ice-hall\/"},"modified":"2022-02-07T22:22:54","modified_gmt":"2022-02-07T20:22:54","slug":"uudised-aasta-betoonehitis-tondiraba-jaahall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/en\/uudised-aasta-betoonehitis-tondiraba-jaahall\/","title":{"rendered":"Concrete building of the year is Tondiraba Icehall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>ehitusuudised.ee<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Estonian Concrete Association today announced the winners of the \"Concrete Building 2014\" contest at the Tallinn Zoo Center of Environmental Education at today's concrete day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Concrete building of the year  2014 was announced Tondiraba Ice Hall<\/strong>, which was awarded the main prize to the architectural firm Kadarik T\u00fc\u00fcr Arhitektid O\u00dc.<br>Winning job was smooth, constructive cooperation, resulting in the construction of an architecturally simple, aesthetic, and constructionally complex building where concrete was widely used.<br>\"Esteetiliselt nauditav, ehitustehniliselt keerukas multifunktsionaalsete kasutusv\u00f5imalustega spordihall, mis eristub teiste p\u00f5hjamaiste j\u00e4\u00e4hallide seast just suurema l\u00e4bidisainituse poolest,\u201d m\u00e4rkis \u017e\u00fcrii.<br>The chairman of the jury, Aadu Kana, noted that concrete was used in a variety of ways for this building, as well as the excellent quality of concrete work and the use of concrete and wooden materials in this building have been particularly successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Awards related to Concrete building of the year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Customer\u2019s prize \u2013 Tallinn Sports and Youth Department<\/li><li>Constructor\u2019s prize \u2013 Civen O\u00dc, Novarc Group AS<\/li><li>Construction and Concrete Works \u2013 Merko Ehitus Eesti AS;<\/li><li><strong>Concrete award\u2013 E-Betoonelement AS<\/strong>, Rudus AS, HC Betoon AS;<\/li><li>Formwork prize \u2013 Peri AS<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The \"Concrete building of the year\", organized for the fifteenth time this year, has been launched in order to introduce the wide range of concrete applications to the public and recognize those people who have used domestic construction material - the possibility of thick and well-formed concrete for the implementation of their ideas.<br>This year 13 works were received.
