The training day will end with a visit to the Liivalaia construction site. The training session is designed for concrete manufacturers, builders, designers, construction supervisors, clients of construction works.<br><br><strong>PROGRAMME:<\/strong><br><br><strong>10.40 Registration and morning coffee<\/strong><br><br><strong>11:00 Planning and execution of concrete works.<\/strong> General principles, preventive work methods, wind impact, freeze shock, winter heating. Kalev Ramjalg<br><br><strong>12.00<\/strong> <strong>Concrete types suited for the wintertime and their delivery<\/strong>. Impact of temperature on concrete. Concrete selection. Transport and pumping. Curing process monitoring. Martin Trossek<br><br><strong>13:00 Lunch<br><\/strong><br><strong>13:45 Curing process monitoring <\/strong>Post-pour maintenance in the winter. Connection between post-pour maintenance and curing according to the standard EVS-EN 13670. A closer look into the Sadgrove formula and calculation of concrete strength based on maturity. Kalev Ramjalg<br><br><strong>15:00 Arter Quarter, a visit to the Liivalaia construction site. <\/strong>Mihkel Kukk<br><br><strong>16:00\tEnd of training session<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants will receive <strong>3.1 refresher training points from the Estonian Civil Engineers Union.<\/strong>Training materials and lunch at the school canteen provided.
