Consolis' Baltic business unit, which also includes E-Betoonelement, received environmental product declarations (EPDs). These third-party issued documents provide an overview of the environmental impacts of reinforced concrete elements produced by E-Betoonelement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Vaido Leosk, Design and Development Manager of the Baltic Unit<\/strong>: \"The published EPDs allow us to compare and assess competing products in the market in terms of environmental impacts. From the company's perspective, this embodies  <a href=\"https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/en\/environment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a move towards carbon-neutral production<\/a>, by focusing on measuring and reducing the CO2 footprint.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Environmental product declarations were issued for the following products:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"translation-block\">insulated or <em>sandwich<\/em> wall element;<\/li><li>single layer wall element;<\/li><li>hollow core panels;<\/li><li>reinforced concrete products - post, beam, staircase, balcony, stair platform;<\/li><li>prestressed reinforced concrete products - prestressed beams and slabs.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"980\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/EPD_E-Betoonelement-980x270.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17771\" srcset=\"https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/EPD_E-Betoonelement-980x270.jpg 980w, https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/EPD_E-Betoonelement-490x135.jpg 490w, https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/EPD_E-Betoonelement-768x212.jpg 768w, https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/EPD_E-Betoonelement-18x5.jpg 18w, https:\/\/betoonelement.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/EPD_E-Betoonelement.jpg 1009w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Environmental product declarations were issued to five plants of the Consolis' Baltic business unit - E-Betoonelement's Harku and Tamsalu plants in Estonia, Consolis Latvija's Salaspils and Rumbula plants in Latvia and Betonika's Trakai plant in Lithuania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The EPDs were published in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epd-norge.no\/epd-soekeresultat\/?q=baltics&amp;categoryID=376\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EPD-Norges<\/a> and are used internationally.
