Who is Wolf D. Prix?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Austria arhitekt Wolf D. Prix<\/strong> (born in 1942 in Vienna) is co-founder, Design Principal and CEO of COOP HIMMELB(L)AU. He studied architecture at the Vienna University of Technology, the Architectural Association of London as well as at the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles. From 1990 to 2011 he worked as a professor of architecture at the Vienna University of Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wolf d. Prix on Austria F\u00f6deraalse Arhitektide ja Insenerkonsultantide Koja, Saksa Arhitektide Liidu (BDA), Briti Arhitektide Kuningliku Instituudi (RIBA), Santa Clara Arhitektuuriliidu (Kuuba) ja Ameerika Arhitektide Instituudi (FAIA) liige.
Ta on Euroopa Teadus-ja Kunstiakadeemia ning Austria Kunsti Senati alaline liige.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company's best-known international projects are Rooftop Remodeling Falkestrasse<\/em> in Vienna, multifunctional UFA Cinema Center in Dresden<\/em>, BMW Welt<\/em> in Munich, Akron Art Museum <\/em>in Ohio, High School #9 for the Visual and Performing Arts in Los Angeles<\/em>, Busan Cinema Center in South Korea<\/em>, Dalian International Conference Center<\/em> in China and House of Music in Aalborg<\/em> in Denmark
Recently, the research and anthropology center Musee des Confluences<\/em> in Lyon, France, and European Central Bank<\/em> In Frankfurt, Germany, Museum of Contemporary Art<\/em> and Planning Exhibition (MOCAPE)<\/em> in Shenzhen, China and PANEUM<\/em> in Asten, Austria were completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wolf D. Prix peetakse dekonstruktivistliku arhitektuuriliikumise \u00fcheks algatajaks.
COOP HIMMELB(L)AU rahvusvaheline l\u00e4bimurre saabus 1988. aastal New Yorgi Moodsa Kunsti Muuseumis (MoMA) peetud n\u00e4itusega \u201eDekonstruktivistlik arhitektuur\u201d. L\u00e4bi aastate on Wolf D. Prix\/ COOP HIMMELB(L)AU p\u00e4lvinud mitmeid rahvusvahelisi arhitektuuriauhindu. B\u00fcrood on kaheksal korral kutsutud osalema Veneetsia Arhitektuuribiennaalil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COOP HIMMELB(L)AU<\/strong> was founded in Vienna in 1968 and has since worked under the leadership of Wolf D. Prix in architecture, urban planning, design and art.
The architectural firm opened its second office in 1988 in Los Angeles, USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
