DELTA was chosen as the name of the building as the result of a competition. The author of the name is Erki Tamm, the chief specialist of the development service of the real state department of the University of Tartu, and the name refers to three-sided collaboration, i.e. information and communication technology, economy, and mathematics-statistics, or to a triad of science-economy-state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
