Experts believe that standstills and failures at a construction site take about 70% of performance. Now, solutions are sought which would provide a chance to be more economic, identify possible deviations in a project, and arrange the whole logistics chain smoothly despite the object under construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AS E-Betoonelement, the service provider of construction of concrete elements, applies digital modelling (BIM\u2014Building Information Modeling) in the enterprise, which enables to test a building by software and to understand the possible \u201cbottlenecks\u201d of constructions even before the work actually starts on the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of the advantages of using the digital model, the manager of the design department Jaanus Olop highlighted that all the material volumes are provided for the manufacturer in an elaborated model. As it is possible to enter the requirement of the materials to the software of the enterprise resource planning (the ERP system) automatically, there is no need to calculate any order of materials manually based on the drawings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201e\u00dchtlasti j\u00e4\u00e4vad \u00e4ra materjali k\u00e4sitsi sisestamisel tekkivad eksimused,\u201d lisab Olop, et mudelis on v\u00f5imalik pilte ekraanil igast nurgast p\u00f6\u00f6rata, mis v\u00f5imaldab planeerida montaa\u017ei j\u00e4rjekorda vastavalt projektis kasutatud s\u00f5lmedele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kuna mudelisse on sisestatud ka ajafunktsioon, on v\u00f5imalik prognoosida materjalide vajadusi ajas \u2013 et materjalid saaks \u00f5igeaegselt lattu valmis tellida. This is our growth spot for us to assess the whole process more smoothly,\u201d mentions Haabj\u00e4rv. He admits that if the construction project is not theirs and it is managed by the office of a client, it is more complicated to handle changes and all the information. \u201cDuring the course of the project, it is asked in our own company if this or that works. However, it is difficult to provide feedback on other external projects. Especially if you have to provide all the information afterwards, the same person will not work with the next project, or information is not transferred sufficiently fast,\u201d he lists examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eBIM ei ole mingi imevahend,\u201d r\u00f5hutab Olop, kelle s\u00f5nul peavad protsessid paigas olema. \u201eSee on moodne t\u00f6\u00f6vahend, mis v\u00f5imaldab osasid asju lihtsamalt ja kiiremini teha.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"bim-vahendab-paberitood\">BIM reduces paperwork<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Olopi s\u00f5nul tekivad info liikumises \u201epudelikaelad\u201c ootamatutest faktoritest. It seems that we are simply used to innovations in Estonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Design tools are being developed day by day. Based on my experience, I can claim that most of the communication with the builder at larger objects in Estonia is carried out 100% in BIM nowadays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of BIM, it is necessary to understand that actually it is nothing but a part of bringing classical construction work to indoor conditions for architects and engineers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If it is not stated in the budget of a development, it would be improper to expect someone to do it a 100% out of pure enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alustuseks tuleks eristada, kas objekt on suur v\u00f5i v\u00e4ike, ning kas ehitaja on \u00fchtlasi ka arendaja. Julgen v\u00e4ita, et v\u00e4iksema hoone puhul loeb BIMist enam meistrimehe kutsemeisterlikkus \u2013 t\u00e4iendav infovoog valdkonnas, mida ta on harjunud nagunii oma peas haldama, ei anna suurt juurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it is different with larger objects, where communication with the actual contractor of the work is improved via visualization in addition to simplifying the work of the budget department crucially. As the BIM project can be monitored more easily, the risk of various additional works emanating from possible reconstruction needs or other unexpected factors for the developer is reduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would also like to outline that BIM does not mean a better project automatically. BIM is a tool like a regular pencil. BIM makes it possible to plan something very crooked perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u00e4naseks v\u00e4ljakutseks on erinevad BIM standardid \u2013 RKASil on oma, Rail Balticul oma, arendajatel ja konsultantidel omad.
